Cathy Worthington

Cathy S. Worthington, age 76, of Clarksville, IN passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd. Cathy was born in Clarksville, IN on March 27, 1948, to the late George Clifford Sr and Carol Marclene Davis Broughton. On March 29, 1979, she married the late James Edward Worthington. Cathy was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her daughters as a homemaker, she also enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death a brother, Clay Broughton.

Cathy is survived by her two daughters, Rhesa Renee (Peder) Nelson and Madeleine Katharine (Henry) Cojocar; seven grandchildren, Davin Nelson, Bryce, Xander, Tidus and Logan Miller, Dante Cojocar, and Trenton Reimer; and three siblings, George Clifford (Karen) Broughton Jr., Chris (Gay) Broughton and Colleen (Tim) Bennett; along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life in memory of Cathy will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, IN 47129
