Catherine Denman Obituary
Catherine Denman, 91, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Traditions of Hunter Station in Sellersburg. She was born in Louisville and was a retired teacher for GRC School in Clarksville. Catherine was a 65 year member of Howard Park Christian Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star-Clarksville, a member of the Jeffersonville Optimist Club and a member of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Denman, and her parents, Harry and Jane Riggle Shelton.
Survivors include three daughters, Terry Burres (Rich) of Clarksville, Melinda Atkins of Clarksville, and Cindy Denman of Clarksville, a son, Ron Denman (Rhonda) of New Albany, six grandchildren, Brad Denman, Christie Andres, Eric Burres, Paige Stewart, Torrie Fry and Mary Catherine Hardin, and ten great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, all services will be private for the convenience of the family. Chapman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements. A Celebration of Life Service will be planned for a later date and details will be announced when available. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to her church.
