Carl Michael Bricker, Sr., age 77, passed away at his home on May 14, 2025. He was born on
January 30, 1948, in Fort Lewis, WA to Jane (Newton) Bricker and Herbert Bricker.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Screlda Bricker, brother Ralph Bricker,
stepdaughter Renne (Candy) Lafay Perkins, grandson Michael Lee Bricker, and step-
granddaughter Amanda Campbell. He is survived by his sister Patty Bricker, brother Jeffrey
Bricker, children Michele Sullivan (Phil), Carl Michael Bricker, Jr. (Holly), Chris Bricker (Wendy)
Curtis Bricker, and stepdaughter Linda Curtsinger. Grandchildren Ashley Sullivan, Jacob
Sullivan, Brandon Bricker, Hannah Whiting, Cortney Bricker, Bailey Bohanon, and step-
grandchildren Danielle Rath and Dylan Robinson.
Carl was a graduate of Providence High School in Clarksville, Indiana. Following his graduation,
he joined the Army and attained the rank of Specialist 5. He completed his service duties
including time in Italy. Carl spent most of his career as an over-the-road truck driver and was
known by his CB call name – Rocketman. He had a love of dogs and leaves behind Little Man
and his son Curtis’ dog Jack, both who will miss him dearly.
Carl chose to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 7,
2025, at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave, Clarksville, IN 47129. Friends and
family may pay their respects from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday.
