Bradley Alan “Brad” Hammond, age 71, of Clarksville, IN passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd.
Brad was born in Jeffersonville, IN on November 26, 1952, to the late Clovas “Buck” and Myrle (Paff) Hammond. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School Class of 1971, a member of Howard Park Christian Church and a retired Home Health Care Associate. Brad was full of life and loved people; he enjoyed attending church and reading his bible. His other hobbies were fishing, dancing and riding his bicycle.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth Hammond, his sister, Katie Sims, brothers, Dan Hammond, Shelby Hammond and Kenny Hammond.
Brad is survived by his two children, Elizabeth Hammond and William Hammond (Tambra); sister, Mavis Sheffel; ten grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Brad is also survived by his companion, Carol Vermillion and a stepson Enrique Velez.
Visitation for Brad will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, followed by a funeral service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
