Billy Ray McBay, 75, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his home. He was born in Jacksonville, FL., and was a First Class Welder for Jeffboat for 45 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 89 and a member of Portland Christian Church in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton Levoy McBay and Dellie Bell Stephens McBay, a brother, Kenneth McBay and his first wife Vivian Worman McBay.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Scroggins McBay, three daughters, Kathy Gregory (Donnie) of Louisville, Kimberly Walker (Tony) of Bedford, KY., Linda Lewis of Louisville, two sons, David Waldron of Jeffersonville and Scott Lewis (Kim) of Georgetown, IN., two sisters, Shirley Heisler (Roger) and Pam Wilson (Al) both of Louisville, 10 grandchildren and trwo great- grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home ,431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville , with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 14, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and after 9:00 until the time of the service on Thursday. The family asks that all persons attending services please wear a facial covering.
