Beverly Jo Shingleton, 70, passed away on Wednesday, December 23,2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital after a battle with breast cancer.
Beverly was born on December 9, 1950 to Earl and Minnie (Curry) Mattingly Sr. in Louisville. Beverly was an outdoor enthusiast and had been an avid hunter. In her later years she still continued to enjoy nature and animals. She had a talent for drawing and also enjoyed journaling. She worked many years for White Castle as a shift-manager before transitioning to, and eventually retired from Transportation Marketing Services International (TMSI) in Jeffersonville. We will miss her greatly.
Beverly was predeceased by her father, Earl Nickolas Mattingly Sr., her mother, Minnie Francis, her sister, Judy Brown, and her brother Kenny Mattingly.
She is survived by her sons William (Bill) Shingleton (Susan) and Roy V. Shingleton (Sara Beth). granddaughters, Amelia Otto (Curt) and Samantha Smitley, great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cooper and Max, her brothers, Earl Nickolas Mattingly Jr. and Gary Anthony Mattingly, her sisters, Janice Gail Corder and Lillie May Evans.
