Betty Jean (Armstorng) Lorenzo

Betty Jean Armstrong Lorenzo, age 52, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 6:32 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on December 28, 1973, in Newington, Georgia, to the late Wayne Armstrong and Mamie Louise Rodriguez.

Betty devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a home health care aide, where her compassion and gentle spirit made a lasting difference in the lives of those she served. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Community Church and found great joy in crafting, cooking, and spending time with the animals she dearly loved. Betty will be remembered for her kind heart, selfless nature, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Everindo Lorenzo; her children, Elaina Lorenzo (Randy), Jonathan Guardado (Ariel), and Gregory Guardado (Maria); and her brothers, Clifton “Bubba” Armstrong (Mary), and Timmy Armstrong (Missy); and 5 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchild, Lucas Guardado, a brother, Tony Armstrong, and sister in law, Terry Armstrong.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Betty’s family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the love she so freely gave throughout her life.
