Alvin Leslie Williamson

Alvin Leslie Williamson, 82, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Jeffersonville. He was a father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an Army Veteran, a life long member of the McCulloch Fire Department, the IVFA, a previous employee of Clark County Emergency Management. He retired from Clark County 911 and worked for Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the American Legion Post 204 and the American Legion Riders. 

Survivors include two sons, Alvin Leslie Williamson II of Clarksville and Brent Williamson (Laura) of Sellersburg, a brother, Randall Thomas Williamson of Ramsey, IN., grandchildren, Sarah Overbay (Bill) of Jeffersonville, Taylor Wilson (Nicky) of Clarksville and Shane Williamson of Sellersburg, one great-grandchild, Cadence Mullen.

Cremation was chosen per his request. A memorial service will be held in January and details will be posted when they become available. Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
