Robert M Smith

Robert M. Smith, 86, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Louisville, KY., and was a self-employed carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Parrish Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Smith of Clarksville, and Freddy Smith (Mary) of Clarksville, and two daughters, Pamela Aldridge (Tom) of Florida and Connie Nelson (Buddy Bateman) of Clarksville, and his companion for the last 12 years, Dorothy Barney of Shelbyville, Ky., and three grandchildren,Eric Smith of Kentucky, Jake Smith (Krystal) of Texas and Tiffany Smith (Tim) of Sellersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home, and after 9:00 on Thursday.
