Jerry Finch Monroe

Jerry Finch Monroe, 89, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. He was born in Greenfield, Tennessee and was a retired Parts Clerk for Ford Motor Company in Louisville. He was a member of the Hamburg Pike Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Sara Roney Monroe, two daughters, Marcia Bryant (Dennis) of Floyd Knobs, IN., and Jan Louden (Scott) of Jeffersonville, two sisters, Margie Schrivner of Jackson, Tennessee and Emily Hopgood (Dale) of Springville, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 15, at Chapman Funeral Home with entombment at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the WHAS Crusade for Children.
