Eva Mae (Sanford) McGar

Eva Mae McGar, 93, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Westminster Health Care Center in Clarksville. She was born in Clarksville, worked for the Pennsylvania Rail Road, and retired as a secretary for the Greater Clark Schools. She was a member of  Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the First Christian Church of Jeffersonville.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Eric McGar and Mark McGar.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Bierman (Phillip) of Floyd Knobs, two grandsons, Thomas Bierman (Kelsey) and Justin Gephart (Amanda) and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the First Christian Church of Jeffersonville, 3209 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN., with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home and after 10:00 AM Friday at the Church.
