Roger Lee Dixon

Roger Lee Dixon, age 76, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at his residence.

 Roger was born in Whitesburg, KY on January 18, 1947, to the late John and Stella (Banks) Dixon. He was an Army Veteran, an active member at Calvary Road Baptist Church in New Albany, a 1966 graduate of New Albany High School, a retired warehouse manager for Williams and Company and currently worked as a check cutter with The Harland Clarke Company. Roger was a hard worker who enjoyed working, his hobbies included woodworking, gardening, yard work and loved people.

He was survived by his wife of 42 years, Rose Ann Dixon, his children, Ronald Lee Dixon (Tonya Gail) of Jeffersonville, June Ann Haggard (Johnny Wayne) of Jeffersonville, Roger Alan Dixon (Jenna Marie) of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Brandon, Ariel, Aaron, Allen, Timothy, Elijah, Mason and Alex; six great grandchildren. Roger was one of twelve children with four surviving siblings.

Visitation for Roger will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Road Baptist Church, 3795 St. Joseph Road, New Albany, IN. His funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 20, at 11 a.m. at the church.

Roger will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
