Lisa (Warman) McRae

Lisa Warman McRae, age 60, of Sellersburg, IN passed away at 6:28 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Clark Memorial Hospital. Lisa was born in New Albany, IN on December 6, 1963 to the late Warren G. and Ella Mae (Rollins) Warman.

 Lisa dedicated her life to nursing. She was a graduate of Indiana University Southeast where she earned her Bachelors Degree as a registered nurse. She dedicated her career to caring for others in their time of sickness and need.  Lisa loved animals and especially her dog Clementine who she had the pleasure of having for many years of her life. Lisa also enjoyed music and singing. She even had a chance to make a recording once. She had a beautiful voice that brought joy to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Warren “Dee” Warman.

Lisa is survived by her siblings, Richard L. Warman (Toni) of Frankfort, KY, Lonnie L. Warman (Linda) of Ojai California, Melanie K Bodenbender (Greg) of New Albany, IN.  and Jerry D. “Bud” Warman (Mandy) of Lanesville, IN. Lisa is also survived by her three children, which she deeply loved. Her son, Matthew R. McRae of Sellersburg, IN, Dylan N. McRae of Sellersburg, IN and her precious daughter, Sarah McRae of Memphis, In.

Visitation for Lisa will be on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 12 – 1 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home 431 West Harrison Ave. Clarksville, IN 47129 followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.

Lisa will be laid to rest along with her father, mother, and brother Dee at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN
