Carolyn F Goode

Carolyn Farmer Goode, age 88, of Clarksville, IN passed away at 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Westminster Healthcare in Clarksville. Carolyn was born on September 1, 1935, to the late Ralph and Anita (Gardner) Farmer. She was a long-time member of Howard Park Christian Church where she taught Sunday School, organized church dinners and various other events that were held at the church. Carolyn was a retired bookkeeper for Precision Automation Company and mostly, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas McDonald Goode who passed away in 2016 and a son, Jeffrey Alan Goode who passed away in 2008.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Goode Hart (Mike) of Georgetown, IN., a grandson, Jason Goode, a great-granddaughter, Allie Cocke.

Visitation for Carolyn will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 11-1pm at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave, Clarksville, IN followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.

Carolyn will be laid to rest at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, in New Albany, IN.

In leu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Howard Park Christian Church, Crusade for Children or the American Diabetes Association.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the exceptional care from the staff at Westminster Healthcare during Carolyn’s stay at their facility.
