James Ivan Christoff

James Ivan Christoff, 72, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Autumn Woods Health Campus is New Albany. He was born November 5, 1944 in Paducah, KY., and was a retired kitchen designer for Cole Lumber and a Baptist Minister to several small churches in southern Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan V. Christoff in 2016, and his wife Judith Ann (House) Christoff in 2004. Jim will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by his friends and family and held in their hearts forever.

Survivors include two daughters, Anita Kay Evans and Ann Janette Christoff both of Illinois, his mother Inez Mildred (Anderson) Christoff of New Albany, a brother, Dennis Christoff (Kathy) of Scottsburg, IN., a sister Judy Bryson (Ken) of New Albany, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen per his request. Private services will be conducted at a later date with his burial beside his wife in the Memorial Gardens of Metropolis, Illinois.
